Characterization of the Canadian Indoor Environment Industries

The Challenge

To produce the first characterization study of the Canadian Indoor Environment Industries.

Our Approach

Industry Canada, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), and the Ontario Government's Green Industry Office were approached; they greed to jointly fund this study and the development of three directories of companies in the field.  The work involved expert / stakeholder interviews, a review of published trade data, and a cross-Canada questionnaire.

Impact

This project has been recognized as a watershed piece on the Canadian indoor environment industry, and has been subsequently republished as part of the report "Voluntary Measures for Achieving Healthy Indoor Environments"

Our Partners Speak for Us

"When I was looking for someone to help us with our comprehensive report "Voluntary Measures for Achieving Healthy Indoor Environments", I thought immediately of Cullbridge because of their Characterization report. That report was ground breaking. It showed a deep understanding of the industry, tremendous foresight, and a remarkable ability to synthesize many complex and disparate factors.  They have brought these same qualities to our joint project."
